Guess who I found today? That’s right, practical public transit pimp was on my train this morning. This is spotting number 3. I’m starting to consider him my little Chicago unicorn.
He makes enough money for that fur coat but not a car. Go figure.

Abandoned CTA Bus on Lake Shore Drive
It doesn’t happen too often, but every once in a while I see a photo, like the one above, and become super jealous of the photographer who took it.
Am I the only one who gets annoyed when the bus driver just leaves the door open in freezing weather?

On November 10, 2009, a CTA bus crashed into a South Side home injuring four people including one 7-year-old passenger.
The impact left a gaping hole on one side of the house and a major crack on the other. Crews worked for nearly two hours to remove the bus from the side of the home, located at at 115 Street and Vincennes Avenue.

Apparently, you don’t have to have a Delorean to go back in time. A CTA bus will do just fine.
